Firstly, YES you will be fed.
We will be spending two days (overnight in the hotel on Friday until Saturday where we checkout at 12pm)
Registration/check in begins at 3:00 pm, on Friday, April 11th. Please be on-time!
As they get registered, they will be given thei room number. They will be put in rooms with people that they may not know, in order for them to mingle and make friends. When they receive their room numbers, they are to put their belongings in a secure room. They will then be directed to the hall next door at the Hyatt Hotel. We encourage everybody to be in the hall instead of their rooms because if everybody is hanging around in the hallways/lobby, it will cause a commotion with the other guests at the hotel. After we have almost everybody registered, we will all head over to the hall to eat dinner. There will be chaperones (the chaperones will be college grads or adults). The program will begin around 5 o'clock; first we pray before beginning the night-filled with activities. We will be in the hall until midnight before we disperse into our various rooms to "continue the fun". Then in the morning, we will get breakfast from the hotel; everyone must be out of their rooms and downstairs by 6 AM - 9 AM. Then, we will hear from guest speakers, in relation to the theme. These guest speakers volunteer their time to come an encourage them, in various ways, based on their personal experiences.
During the year 2023, we marked our 10th year anniversary of our organization!! To begin with, we had a celebration in a hall that we have occupied for the party. We had a Talent show, raffle drawings with prizes, a cultural dance, as well as lots of other fun activities!!
